Government regulatory agencies implement strict policies on importation to protect the animals and humans in their communities. The process to research and request approval for a treatment can be time consuming and overwhelming. This may lead practices obtain the treatment from an unauthorized source, or to abandon the treatment option altogether. Our team specializes in these types of requests, and works closely with Veterinarians and Regulatory Professionals to provide the fastest path to the potential approval of global medicines.

HOW IT WORKS

A licensed Veterinarian provides VMD Sciences with a prescription and a preferred pharmacy. From there, our Regulatory Experts will support the veterinarian in navigating their country’s regulatory requirements to submit a request for importation. If approved, VMD will facilitate the shipment of your treatment through our Global Distribution Network, and your animal can begin their healing journey.
